I've had tropical fish for years now and have always wanted discus have been scared to try them out since I've always heard how delicate they are. I have 125 gallon tank and my Oscar and a Blood Parrot seem to dance and swim fin to fin, best of friends. The parrot now is digging out a nest under some rocks. Is it possible for a huge 10 pound or more Oscar to breed with a medium sized parrot? Do they only breed with the same type of the species?
